Matthew is a freelance copywriter and creative director. Born in South Africa, Matthew has worked in Johannesburg and New York. He is a multi award-winning creative, who creates big platform ideas that work across all media.

In 2011 he took up a joint ECD position at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, where he helped guide them to the 15th most awarded agency at Cannes in 2013. 

His experience running an agency in South Africa has proven invaluable, giving him huge insight in working across a variety markets throughout Africa and the world. Over the years he has created iconic work for GE, AT&T, Pepsi, Unilever, Bacardi, Pernod Ricard, South African Breweries, Standard Bank, Nissan, Mini and BMW.

He has won a number of awards, including 25 Lions at Cannes. He has also featured regularly at D&AD, Clios and One Show. Matthew has served on juries at Cannes, D&AD, One Show and New York Festivals.
